Suffolk Begins Senior Living Project for Veterans
Suffolk has broken ground on the new Collier County Veterans’ Nursing Home, a 120-bed facility that will expand skilled nursing and adult day health care services for veterans across eight counties.
The facility will include rehabilitation services, landscaped gardens, walking paths, libraries and gathering areas for residents and their families. Construction will incorporate hurricane-resilient design, digital modeling and advanced project coordination tools.
Suffolk is working with Collier County, the Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs, the Florida Department of Management Services and other project partners. The company has also completed senior-living projects in the region, including Moorings Park Grande Lake and Vi at Bentley Village.
Founded in 1982, Suffolk is a nationwide contractor that pairs core construction services with innovative business units that include capital, design, technology and sustainability. For more information, visit Suffolk.com.
