Suffolk Promotes General Manager to Drive Regional Growth

N a t i o n w i d e builder Suffolk has made strategic leadership changes to strengthen its Florida operations, elevating Ben Wilson to general manager of the Gulf Coast. Working from Suffolk’s Estero office, he will report to Pete Tuffo, president of Suffolk’s Florida Gulf Coast and National Gaming.

Wilson has 20 years of experience building complex projects in Florida. He has spent 10 of those years with Suffolk, where he most recently served as chief operating officer of the firm’s Gulf Coast region. In his expanded role as general manager, Wilson will oversee projects, manage client relationships and ensure his teams deliver exceptional value for clients.

Suffolk has managed some of the most notable projects in Florida, including the Great Wolf Lodge, Avra Metropolitan and the hotel at Naples Beach Club, A Four Seasons Resort, in Naples, Tampa General Hospital Urgent Care in Babcock Ranch, Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers and the guitarshaped Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, among others.
