Uncommon Friends Foundation Names New Executive Director

T h e U n c o m m o n Friends Foundation has named Marc Collins as its new executive director to help restore the relevance and history of the nonprofit organization.
Collins will be responsible for leading a scholarship fund, as well as maintaining and offering tours of the historic Burroughs Home & Gardens and Langford- Kingston Home in Fort Myers. For more than 20 years, Collins has been the lead interior designer for Carroll Properties, which manages hotels, restaurants and marinas. He is active in philanthropic and charitable causes, including the Florida Repertory Theatre, SalusCare, Big Brothers/ Big Sisters, American Cancer Society, Florida Gulf Coast University, LARC, Arts for Act and Pace Center for Girls, Lee.
