SUITE TALK September 14, 2020 admin
Vantage Construction Services, LLC, has been busy with several projects in Cape Coral and Fort Myers.
Vantage has just completed a new four-unit home for Lifeline Family Center in Cape Coral. Each unit in this new-construction 3,640-square-foot fourplex has two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with both tub and shower, a screened lanai and washer and dryer for each apartment.
This project was funded by donations of money, labor and materials. It included site work, all utilities, an expanded facility parking area with ADA compliant spaces and ramps and a storm drainage system with piping, fencing and large retention areas. Named the Fulton House in honor of its donors, it will be home to graduates of the center’s programs as they become ever more self-reliant.
Vantage has broken ground in Cape Coral on a new construction project for Cabinet Genies, a family-owned business, which has been in Southwest Florida for 35 years and currently operates out of a 1,500-square-foot space.
Its new 5,645-square-foot showroom at 817 SE 47th Terrace, will offer full working kitchens where a chef will host events and demonstrations. There will also be an 1,872-square-foot patio with an outdoor kitchen to showcase al fresco options. Completion of the project is scheduled for Spring of 2021.
Vantage has broken ground on a new Kid’s World Preschool. Located at 1942 Skyline Boulevard in Cape Coral, the site will be home to a 10,000-square-foot facility to open in early 2021. This will be the second Kid’s World Preschool in Cape Coral for owner Evelyn Monteagudo, with the first in operation at 1126 NE 16th Terrace.
Kid’s World Preschool, Inc. offers high quality, affordable and safe daycare, childcare, preschool, winter camp, spring camp, summer camp, before and after school care, toddler care, preschool, pre-K, VPK program and part-time child care.
Vantage has completed construction of a new commercial building for Florida Wood Window and Door. The 13,500-square-foot facility at 5691 Halifax Avenue in Fort Myers includes a first-floor showroom, warehouse, loading docks, kitchen and offices. The mezzanine, constructed of hollowcore plank, accessible by stairs and elevator, combines a large storage area, meeting space and ancillary office with views into the warehouse below. The mezzanine storage area is designed with two large gates that make it convenient to load large shipments by forklift.
Florida Wood Window and Door is now operational in the new location and a public opening event will be held soon.
