Wright Construction Group has announced the completion of the Chiquita Lock Removal in partnership with the City of Cape Coral, ahead of schedule and under budget.
To further support ecological restoration, over 3,000 mangrove seedlings will be planted along the waterway, and oyster reef balls will be installed in the area formerly occupied by the lock.
Billiejean Tietze has joined Wright Construction as its first in-house Permit Manager. Tietze’s industry experience, workflow optimization and analytical problem-solving approach will be an asset in navigating the challenges of the construction permitting process.
Wright Construction has also added Van Povey to its team as a civil estimator. Povey is responsible for estimating projects upwards of $100 million. His role involves reviewing and determining bid requirements, qualifications and proposals, and managing subcontractor coordination and relations. He will lead the process of preparing, coordinating and administering bid documents for governmental and private industry clients.
