Wright Construction Group Fills Several Key Positions

Wright Construction Group recently filled several key positions, including senior estimator, assistant project manager, and superintendent.
As senior estimator, Scott Robbins is responsible for evaluating requests for estimates, conducting cost analysis and preparing complete estimates on large and complex projects. His more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry includes 23 years with Lee Kennedy Company in Boston, Massachusetts, where he held a variety of positions, including vice president and purchasing director.
Christopher Hunt and Eric Oberg are assistant project managers, responsible for coordinating contract administration, change orders, submittals, material procurement, scheduling and budget control.
A University of Florida graduate, Hunt has 20-plus years of experience in construction management and has completed many high-profile projects in Southwest Florida, including the Children’s Museum of Naples and Florida Gulf Coast University’s solar field, parking garage and student housing buildings. He is also a qualified stormwater management inspector.
Oberg earned a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management from Central Connecticut State University. Prior to joining Wright Construction, he worked at TerraSmart in Fort Myers as a project manager overseeing installation projects involving solar racking systems and ground screw foundations.
Superintendent Ryan Smith will oversee the operations of the construction site from planning to completion. His daily responsibilities include scheduling, supervising activities and tasks, and ensuring site safety and compliance. Previously, Smith was a construction project manager for Lennar Homes, overseeing residential and commercial projects through completion.
