SBA Opens Business Recovery Centers in Southwest Florida

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has opened a Business Recovery Center (BRC) at CareerSource Southwest Florida at 3050 Horseshoe Drive, North in Naples. It joins other centers in Lee, Manatee, Pinellas and Sarasota counties that are working to assist small businesses that have suffered financially because of the ongoing red tide and toxic algal blooms.

Small businesses, agricultural cooperatives, aquaculture businesses and private non-profit organizations may be eligible to obtain a SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan for their working capital needs. Customer service representatives at the centers can provide loan application assistance and answer questions about the program.

Applications also are available online at DisasterLoan.sba.gov. The filing deadline to return applications for economic injury is June 4, 2019. For more information, please call 1-800-557-3242.
