Stevens Construction To Renovate Assisted Living Facility
SUITE TALK September 28, 2017 admin
Village on the Isle, a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community, has selected Stevens Construction for the renovation of its five-story, 80,000sf assisted living facility, Mark Manor.
Located at 930 Tamiami Trail South in Venice, Mark Manor is being fully renovated one floor at a time to minimize disrupting its 64 residents.
The renovation includes replacing the interior finishes and exterior façade of the 35-year-old building to reflect a more residential look. Another improvement is the addition of a dedicated, state-of-the-art memory care support floor for those affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia. The building’s plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems also will be replaced.
Project manager Chris Walczak will oversee the work in conjunction with superintendent Mike Wood and project administrator Sue Ziegenfus. RLPS Architects provided the design.
