Architectural Firm Works to Demystify Design Process

ARTE FACT, a Fort Myersbased architectural design studio, recently launched a new website to offer insights and information about the design process.

“Architectural design is often shrouded in mystery,” says Fabian Behague, managing principal of ARTEFACT. “We plan to shed light on issues ranging from obtaining building permits and estimating costs to how design can promote human interaction.”

Established by Behague in 2013, ARTEFACT oversees commercial projects throughout the southeastern U.S. It recently expanded with an office in Miami’s Brickell financial district. Jackie Drake, ASID, NCIDQ, joined the firm last January.

ARTEFACT’s building-design services include master planning, brand development, architecture, historic preservation and interior design. Its design portfolio contains more than 500,000sf of corporate space and landmark buildings for Chico’s FAS, Gartner, NeoGenomics, Norman Love Confections and Shell Point Retirement Community, among other commercial clients.
