Construction Underway On Skilled Nursing Unit

Stevens Construction has started construction of a 57,000sf, post-acute care skilled nursing unit for Lee Health at 13960 Plantation Road in Fort Myers.

Developed by Aquila Healthcare Development, Lee Health is leasing the threestory, 75-bed medical facility, which will provide post-acute services for patients needing short-term medical recovery and rehabilitation after their hospital stays.

Studio+ designed Gulf Coast Medical Center Skilled Nursing Unit with three separate units, each housing an openconcept living room, kitchen, nurse station and 25 private patient beds with convenient access to the occupational and physical therapy rooms. The facility is slated for completion in 2019.
