Barron Collier Companies and Metro Commercial Development Group have broken ground for Founders Square, a 55-acre mixed-use development on the southeast corner of Immokalee Road and Collier Boulevard in Naples. Slated for completion in summer 2021, the development will provide residential, shopping, dining, entertainment, medical and other services to the rapidly growing area.

Founders Square will be anchored by The Pointe, a collection of restaurants and other service and retail tenants. The restaurants will vary in type and size. The Pointe will feature upscale architecture and a pedestrianfriendly design.

The development also will be home to The Haldeman, a 400-unit Class-A apartment community built around Founders Square’s extensive lake system, and a 35,000sf medical office building adjacent to The Pointe.

The Davis Group, based in Atlanta, GA, is developing a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled, 110,000sf self-storage facility. It will feature convenient drive-up units in a three-story building.

Founders Square offers easy access with three entrances, including one on Collier Boulevard that is signalized and two additional entrances on Immokalee Road. A limited number of parcels are available for purchase and lease with locations fronting Immokalee Road and interior sections. Metro Commercial and Trinity Commercial Group are marketing the property.
