Seagate Development Group and DeAngelis Diamond Team Up

Seagate Development Group and Deangelis Diamond began construction on NeoGenomics’ new global headquarters, located west of I-75 and north of Alico Road along Three Oaks Parkway in Fort Myers. Seagate is the developer , construction manager and site contractor for the $60 million state-of-the-art facility, while Deangelis Diamond is the general contractor for the project.

“Like Seagate, NeoGenomics wants to be a part of building local economies and offering additional employment opportunities,” said Seagate’s Matt Price.

DeAngelis Diamond broke ground on the project and began onsite work in May. Construction of the walls of the buildings began in June. The new headquarters will comprise two buildings totaling approximately 150,000 square feet. One building, consisting of 75,000 square feet, will be the main working space for the corporate offices, spread out over three stories. The secondary building, an additional 75,000 square feet, will be utilized as a laboratory for the onsite physicians and technicians.

Construction is underway with the foundation and shell of the first floor complete. Additionally, the foundation is in place for the laboratory, in preparation to begin vertical structures. This new facility is classified as a Class-A office building, which will include an executive wing, cafeteria, indoor and outdoor dining and a courtyard in between the two buildings. The project is scheduled to be completed by the third quarter of 2021.
